New Xinyuan Company closely focuses on the theme of "everyone talks about safety, everyone knows how to respond to emergencies - finding hidden safety hazards around us", and uses practical exercises as the "examination room" to stage exciting emergency skills "big drills". On June 10th and June 13th, Operations Department 1 and Operations Department 2 respectively organized department level emergency drills for Safety Production Month. During the drills, department managers and team members participated and cooperated to timely and effectively control the spread of accidents. The Safety Management Department has put forward targeted and guiding opinions on the issues exposed during the drill, such as handling details and personnel protection, which has accumulated practical experience for relevant departments in emergency response.
On June 26th, Xinxinyuan Company organized the "Safety Production Month Government Enterprise Joint Comprehensive Emergency Exercise" activity. This exercise coordinated with 9 relevant government departments, mobilized 10 rescue vehicles of various types, and had more than 50 participants. Song Liang, Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Bureau of Zhongjie Industrial Park, Liu Le, Deputy Director of the Ecological Environment Bureau, Zhang Bin, Deputy Director of the Petrochemical Office, Wang Zheng, General Manager of Xinxinyuan Company, Li Dongfeng, Deputy General Manager, as well as officials from relevant government departments and representatives of hazardous chemical enterprises conducted on-site observations.
The drill simulates a flash explosion and fire caused by a rapid oil flow rate during the operation of a normal pressure storage tank. The drill is divided into four stages: self rescue by the enterprise after the accident, emergency response by the park's emergency team, activation of the park's emergency plan for rescue, and on-site recovery after the rescue is completed. After hearing a loud noise during outdoor operations for storage and transportation, on-site inspection revealed that the methanol storage tank had experienced a flash explosion during the oil inlet process, with the top of the tank cracking and the inside catching fire. Xinxinyuan Company immediately activated the emergency rescue plan and carried out self rescue. Due to the large size of the fire, the company's own emergency rescue forces were unable to control the fire in a timely and effective manner. The situation is urgent, and the emergency response is immediately expanded. We request emergency support from the park and surrounding enterprises. With the joint support of government, fire, medical and other departments, the injured were treated in a timely manner and the fire was effectively controlled, successfully achieving the established goals of this drill.
After the drill, Song Liang, Deputy Director of the Emergency Management Bureau of Zoje, commented on the drill. He said that this drill was very targeted, and all participating units carefully organized and closely cooperated, achieving the expected results. At the same time, it is emphasized that the heads of enterprises and relevant government departments should always tighten the safety string, continuously strengthen emergency response capabilities, and resolutely build a solid copper and iron wall for safety production.
Wang Zheng, the general manager of Xinxinyuan Company, stated that the drill was very successful. While testing the emergency response capabilities of the company's emergency team, it also evaluated the government enterprise linkage mechanism, providing emergency support for the safe operation of the enterprise. He requested that employees in all positions of the company strengthen emergency training, preferring to be prepared without fighting and not to be prepared without fighting, so as to effectively implement the measure of "preventing problems before they occur".
